A car mishap ends without injuries when a jackrabbit jumps through the windshield, breaking glass and a steering wheel piece. Dinner guests included Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Hamilton and sons at Dick Hamilton’s home, and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hanson and sons visited Yankton. Spooks is replaced by a Chevrolet. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Heyl and daughters were dinner guests Sunday.
On Saturday June 13 King Solo and his Hill Billies perform an old time dance. another case of beer available to top old time waltzers. Sunday June 14 features roller skating in the afternoon and a ball game Westfield versus Macy Indians with free entertainment in the evening.
At the Christa Hanson home near Alcester daughters were Sioux City shoppers Tuesday as the community focuses on testing cattle for tuberculosis. Also note: fresh typewriter ribbons and carbon paper are for sale at the Register Tribune office.
