Charles Rundell Rites Held At Hawarden Church
Funeral services for Charles J. Rundell were conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Hawarden Methodist Church with Rev. G S Bruland officiating. Burial followed in Hurley, South Dakota. Rundell, born April 13, 1892 in Turner County South Dakota, died Monday in a Sioux City hospital. He married Ethel Stoner on February 15, 1923. They lived in Union County SD before moving to Hawarden in 1959. Survived by widow, a daughter Joyce Vaan of Denver, three sons Keith of Minneapolis Lowell of Hawarden Gale of Sioux City, five grandchildren, a brother Price Rundell of Sioux Falls, and two sisters Pearl Nickum and Myrtle Rundell of Rochester.
