Born July 17 1883 on a farm northwest of Akron, baptized 1883 Union Creek Church, confirmed Sept 8, 1901. Lifelong member active in church and cemetery board. Survived by brother Henning of Akron, two nieces, two nephews. Funeral at Union Creek Lutheran Church, interment Union Creek Cemetery.
