The Akron Nursing Home enjoyed a festive Christmas with choir carols from Preston Township and Plymouth Presbyterian Church. Residents received gifts including a Lava Lite, ham for New Year, oranges and apples from Santa, and visits from Eliza and relatives across Westfield Le Mars Brunsville and Sioux City. Community groups and individuals supplied fruit baskets, cookies, and sweets as residents shared meals and gratitude.
