Mrs. Albert Simons 94 of Elk Point died Thursday in Akron Iowa. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home Elk Point with Rev. William Steels officiating. Burial in Elk Point Cemetery. Survivors include daughter Mrs Frank Mackey Arlington Heights Illinois six grandchildren 24 great grandchildren nine great great grandchildren.

Laurinda Wendt 27 of Akron died Friday at Akron hospital after weeks of illness. Funeral 1:30 p.m. February 15 at Plymouth Presbyterian Church with Rev. Charles Kruse. Buried LeMars Memorial Cemetery. Born April 20, 1883 in South Dakota, she married Christian Wendt May 29, 1903 in LeMars. Survived by four sons, two brothers, a sister, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren. She was preceded by husband in 1940, a son Christian in infancy, a daughter Myrtle.
