Christmas Activities and Classroom News From Akron

Fifth and Sixth Grade Science and Health Summary
Fifth graders completed a weather and meteorology study covering cloud types, precipitation, and storms. Sixth graders created space scrapbooks with extra material, showing strong improvement. The class will study magnetism and earth’s magnetic field, while BA reading students finished the first Beaten? Dipest and over half of Vista. Weekly readers are arriving and reading will begin.
Kindergarten News and Christmas Art Projects
In Numbers section we cover number eight from the Happy Way to Numbers workbook. Students create number lines as extra practice. They decorated a Christmas tree with paper chains stars mittens popcorn and icicles. Last week they made moeai Christmas trees for a bulletin.
