Francis Willard Spire born January 18 1901 in Alcester Township Union County died August 17 in Akron Iowa at 70 years 7 months married Marie Milliken December 25 1920 daughter Joyce survived by wife and daughter five grandchildren great granddaughter two sisters two brothers and many relatives. Services were August 19 at Evangelical United Brethren church near Beresford with interment Zion Cemetery. Cheese consumption rise noted with per capita use near 114 pounds in 1970 and projected to rise to 14 15 pounds by 1980.
