Olive A Ringsrud long time teacher and political figure dies in a Los Angeles hospital August 24 1871 after a fall. born February 7 1892 in Union County South Dakota she served as South Dakota secretary of state for two terms and later worked as translator for the war agencies and United Nations. she is survived by a sister and several nephews and nieces funeral held at Forest Lawn Glendale.
