The Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service reports 6 780 083 dollars in wool and unshorn lamb payments were sent on April 6 1987 to producers who filed 1960 program applications. Lamb payments require 30 day ownership and no showing. Wool support price remains 86 cents per pound with 1 cent rise over 1968.
