Canton Akron Cars Start From Waiting Room

Declared August Budisill Arrested at Union Depot
August Budisill, a large man, was arrested at the Union depot Saturday night for refusing to pay and alleged theft of fruit and sandwiches. Officer Martin Harris made the arrest. Budisill claimed he was honest and from Youngstown with a delegation. His case was continued until Tuesday as his record is investigated. He is reportedly well known to Youngstown police who have arrested him before.

Ninth annual Ohio conference assigns Akron pastors
The ninth annal Ohio conference of the United Evangelical church closed Sunday. One 05 ministers and laymen attended. Minister assignments were made Saturday night with Rev. W. S. Harpster returning to the first United Evangelical church for a fourth year in Akron and to oversee the South Akron mission while serving as a conference trustee for five years. Western district lists W. W. Sherrick as presiding elder and multiple ministers named to Akron Canton and Cleveland churches. Eastern district names include S. Rife presiding elder and ministers to Akron Canton Cleveland and Youngstown. I. B. Herbst ordained a Geacon with ordination sermon by Bishop High. Licenses granted to W. E. Smith d. W. Johnson and others for preaching on trial. Trial committee includes W. W. Sherrick and A. Schwarts.

Eminent author Emile Zola died this morning from asphyxiation caused by carbon monoxide from a stove in his room. Madame Zola, who slept nearby, was saved by artificial respiration. The death ends a career of prolific and controversial fiction marked by his defense of the down trodden and his involvement in the Dreyfus affair.
