War Stories Area Veterans Remember World War II premiere
The Augusta Richmond County Historical Society and Scrapbook Video Productions present a documentary based on years of interviews with Aiken and Augusta area veterans. Two premiere screenings are scheduled at Augusta State University on November 14 at 2 and 5 p.m. Admission is free.

A series of local incidents include an unsecured City Hall door found early Tuesday, thefts of alternators from Barton's Radiator, a suspected thief captured on surveillance entering a business at 2 am, and unauthorized credit card use in Philadelphia and Hampton. Burglary at Sharyn Lane. copper wire stolen from Reynolds Pond Road home. two Hamilton Drive homes broken into with jewelry, a cell phone, and a watch stolen. A 2005 Ford F 250 reported stolen from Breezy Hill Road. a Plunkett Avenue gas tank door damaged but nothing stolen.
