New Bubblers Speed Up Liquid Waste Processing at SRS
The Savannah River Site Defense Waste Processing Facility adds argon bubblers to the 80 ton melter to improve temperature uniformity and increase canister output from 215 to about 325 per year, with a long term goal of 400. Two Charlotte Men Arrested in Knox Avenue Burglary
North Augusta Public Safety reports two North Carolina men were jailed for a Knox Avenue burglary at Murphy USA. Gregory Austin Griffin, 50, and Ronny Eugene Steele, 55, both of Charlotte, were found with cocaine in a burglary van. Griffin faces third degree burglary and third offense cocaine possession. Steele is charged with cocaine possession and accessory after the fact. Both are at the Aiken County Detention Center.
