Senate approves funds for USC Aiken science building
The Senate Appropriations Committee approved 700000 for USC Aiken to outfit a new natural sciences building. Sen. Aiken County Hairdressers Affiliate No. 23 will sponsor a beauty pageant for boys ages 4 to 7 and girls ages 4 to 18. The pageant is set for Oct. 17. Applications may be picked up from schools or from participating hairdressers.
