Sean Penn Released Early From Jail After Probation Violation

Actor Sean Penn walked out of Central Jail in Los Angeles after serving 32 days of a 60 day sentence for probation violation. He wore dark glasses and was flanked by his brother Christopher and an unidentified man as reporters watched. Penn’s early release was granted for good behavior during custody.

Henry Ford II listed in serious condition

Henry Ford II age 70 was listed in serious condition with pneumonia at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit after transfer from Cottage Hospital in Grosse Pointe Farms. He had been ill about two weeks while briefly in Europe and remains on ICU as a Ford Motor Co spokesman noted.

Sister Healy Dies In Auto Crash In Lexington County

Sister Mary Visitation Healy, a Buckeye native and longtime member of the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Mercy, was killed in a seven car pileup on Interstate 20 in dense fog near Lexington County. She had worked as a librarian for the Aiken County Youth Correction Department and served with St. Mary of Namur in Kenmore New York for years. Memorial Mass set for 6 p.m. Wednesday.
