Memory Ride Hunter Show Moves to Highfields Center

The Memory Ride Hunter Show will hold its seventh edition at the Highfields Event Center on September 24 with two rings. First classes start at 8 30 a m. Harbor Chase provides free lunch for riders while spectators pay 10 dollars each. Diane Mansur of the organizing committee thanks Three Runs Plantation for past facility use and notes the move from the previous site.

Mustang Classic band competition opens season in Graniteville

The Mustang Classic on September 24 at LLL Willis Stadium Graniteville features 12 bands from South Carolina and Georgia with $7 adults $4 students. Judges are music educators. Midland Valley will perform an exhibition prior to awards. Midland Valley bands include 65 marching and 90 concert students.
