Kris Medlen pitched seven strong innings as Andrelton Simmons and Evan Gattis homered to fuel a 3-1 Braves victory over the Mets. Gattis tied the game with his 16th homer in the seventh and Simmons extended the lead. Craig Kimbrel earned his 34th save.
