Man charged with murder of six in Alabama family rampage
Westley Harris, 22, was charged with nine counts of murder for the killings of his girlfriend’s parents, grandmother, and three brothers at their rural Alabama farm. Two teenagers, Janice Ball and her infant daughter, remained missing as authorities investigated motives. Harris and Ball surrendered to police. Ball was being cared for by welfare officials. The victims were found across a farmhouse, a mobile home, a hog pen, and a car trunk. Harris faces possible death penalty if convicted.
