Prisoner swap moves forward between Israel and Hamas
In a staged exchange set for Tuesday, 1,027 Palestinians will be freed for Israeli Sgt. Gilad Schalit who has been held in Gaza since 2006. The deal, planned despite Israeli court challenges, will see Schalit released after a series of swaps with releases to follow Egypt and several countries.
