Harley funeral today with security and family support
Funeral services for Staff Sgt. Harley begin at Cedar Creek Church at 1 p.m. The procession and burial will be protected by city officers at Pine Lawn Cemetery with room for bystanders on Rudy Mason Parkway and York Street. Patriot Guard Riders and church officials provide support as Westboro Baptist Church planned protest but did not. Harley, 48, and Spc. Luther Rabon, 32, were killed Oct. 1 when an IED exploded under their vehicle while on duty with the Graniteville unit.
