Aiken County releases its most wanted list featuring two high priority suspects. The 62 year old stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 192 pounds with armed and dangerous designation for multiple drug distribution counts near schools. The 30 year old suspect is 6 feet 1 inch tall. Both are sought for crack cocaine and other controlled substances distribution charges.
A record of detainee bookings at the Doris C Gravat Detention Center for Oct 12 lists individuals charged with offenses including failure to appear, driving under suspension, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana, fraud, and weapon or traffic related crimes. Several entries note warrants or bench warrants and many cases remain potential releases on bond.
A North Augusta home on Finkeldey Drive was burglarized during renovations with appliances valued at 4500 dollars stolen. In Aiken, Gary Pope, 46, was missing after being left on Whiskey Road and an intercom call failed to locate him. A debit card stolen in Aiken was used multiple times totaling 784 dollars. A stolen rifle purchased from a classified ad was recovered by Public Safety. An Aiken resident reported damage after a vehicle struck a trash can.
