Judge orders injunction ending dont ask dont tell ban
A federal judge in San Diego issued a worldwide injunction stopping enforcement of the dont ask dont tell policy. She ordered suspension of all discharge proceedings and investigations under the ban and gave the Justice Department 60 days to appeal. If upheld, it could let openly gay service members serve without hiding their orientation.

Florida man electrocuted at South Carolina State Fair ride
Roger Thompson, 43, of Brooksville Florida, was electrocuted while installing The Rainbow ride at the Columbia fair Mitsubishi. He was taken to Palmetto Health Richland hospital where he died. Officials from North American Midway Entertainment and OSHA investigate.
