Westboro Church plans protest at local soldier funeral
Westboro Baptist Church says it will attend the funeral of Staff Harley Willie Harley and protest the service over its belief that God punishes the United States. The group also plans to protest SPC Luther Rabon’s funeral in Lexington, asserting American deaths reflect national sins. Both soldiers served in the 1221st Engineer Clearance Company and were killed Oct 1 in Afghanistan.
