Runner Runner film review flounders on a hollow online gamble
The review scores Runner Runner as a dull thriller with Timberlake and Affleck delivering flat performances. It depicts Richie Furst's rise from Wall Street dropout to online empire right hand man, then descends into a lackluster fugue of chase and betrayal. The piece criticizes its script, pacing, and failed attempt at casino glamour, labeling it a forgettable paycheck project.
