Carter Hoffman Arrested In Massachusetts CIA Sit-In
Amy Carter and Abbie Hoffman were among 59 arrested at the University of Massachusetts protest against CIA recruitment. Up to 100 students occupied Munson Hall for six hours, 51 faced trespass and disruption charges and eight faced obstructing lawful arrest. Carter, 19, Brown University student, said she resisted as police tried to move protesters. All were booked at Northampton District Court and faced arraignment.
