Wright pleads guilty in 2010 Aiken double murder case

Wright admitted to killing 75 year old Yana Schenker at 105 Paddocks Bend Road and 38 year old Shalamar Byrd near Storm Branch Road in 2010. He burned the residences to cover up the crimes and transported Byrd’s body in Schenker’s Ford truck. Authorities detailed strangulation and mechanical asphyxia, with a linked jewelry ring. He faces life in prison in Georgia plus possible 30 more years in South Carolina.

Odom sentenced for cybersex offenses and commitment to treatment
