Police seek Aiken man for alleged assault of girlfriend
The Aiken Department of Public Safety seeks Travenne Dashawn Hammonds 21 of Pardue Lane on a warrant for second degree domestic violence unlawful conduct toward a child third degree assault and battery and malicious injury to property. The assault occurred while a baby was present at a Horry Street home causing injuries to the girlfriend and her mother. Hammonds allegedly damaged a bedroom door and an exterior window as he left.

Aiken Department of Public Safety released security footage showing a white male in his early 20s with blond hair and blue eyes who matches the robbery suspect. The man entered Murphy's Express on Richland Avenue near Wal-Mart at about 6 15 p m Saturday and fled west with an undisclosed amount of cash, while a Richland Avenue motel video shows a similar man at 6 05 p m Sunday.
