Child Buried Alive In Clay Embankment Near Langley
A clay embankment at Camp Kiwanis Langley collapsed on a Tuesday afternoon, burying Edward Wesley Tompkins Jr. of Sandersville Ga, a boy under five visiting Mr. and Mrs. Parker. Workmen unearthed the body during soil removal. Coroner Yom Tarver ruled no inquest needed. The child was buried in Sandersville with his mother.
