More than 370000 in undeliverable IRS tax refund checks await 1100 South Carolinians including residents of Aiken County. IRS director Donald L. Man Dies In Aiken House Fire Leaving Girl Safe

Aiken County investigators say Bob Adams aged 31 died from smoke inhalation in a Silver Birch 94 residence fire yesterday. A young girl escaped uninjured as firefighters battled the blaze around 12 30 pm with public safety and two volunteer departments. The center of the home burned and officials suspect an accidental start. The Metro Arson Team investigated the incident.
