Aging Council Set to Lease Former Aiken Post Office

The Council on Aging Inc of the Aiken area will sign a $705 monthly lease for the vacant 3,700 square foot former post office building this week. W J Broadwater of the Tampa Field Real Estate office confirmed the lease and noted plans to sell the building soon with no inquiries on purchase. Margaret Koch, director, said not all board members know of the lease and refused to disclose the lease amount while noting funds will come from the council budget.
