A surveyor in the Channel tunnel unearthed a 95 million year old squid like fossil about a foot wide and 60 pounds. Geologist Stuart Warren called it the first notable fossil in the tunnel and said machines in boring rails would ruin finds, but hand dug access tunnels may yield more.
Michelle Tucker arrived at her aunt’s house when a neighbor cried that a 9 month old boy was choking. She turned him upside down and hit his back, dislodging a sandwich while noting the infant had water in his stomach. Tucker learned the technique after her son’s breathing issues.

A nuclear consulting firm analyst says the Savannah River Site is the most likely site for a New Production Reactor due to strong local support, trained workforce, infrastructure, and waste-capability. He favors the modular high temperature gas cooled reactor, noting it could be built at SRS and could supply defense materials while selling power to private buyers.

He joked about parking spaces rented to Fotomat and teased Ed McMahon while confirming his May 22 1992 farewell after 30 seasons and that Jay Leno is the likely successor. He also said he will be a Star Search contestant on May 23rd and hinted at future TV pursuits.
