Aiken artist designs Sesquicentennial logo
The Sesquicentennial logo winner is Mrs. James M. Davis Jr. She created the oval logo featuring the Best Friend train and local symbols including St. Mary’s Church Banksia and the downtown fountain. Davis credits research and Aiken ties for guiding her design and says the project fostered pride in the community.
