Aiken waitress charged in breach of trust and theft
Tyesha Simmons 26 of Charleston Row Boulevard is accused of stealing a cell phone from Mario's Italian Kitchen on York Street where she works as a waitress. A 69 year old victim says Simmons and another woman had access to the area. The case linked to a collision on S C Highway 19 while Simmons fled after the alleged theft and breach of trust charge. The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues the probe.

Woman charged after dead dog found in filthy home
Aiken County Sheriff's Office charged Tiffany Hefele, 24, with unlawful neglect of a child after a welfare check revealed a dead dog, feces on walls, soaked floors, sanitized foods, and minimal fridge stock in her Palmetto Avenue residence. Three children aged 2, 3, and 5 were placed in emergency protective custody.
