A Snapper lawn mower was reported missing from a North Augusta residence between Saturday and Monday. An inspection of nearby homes yielded no clues and no arrests have been made. The incident was logged by the Aiken County Sheriff's Department.
The Area 3 and Area 5 Advisory Councils will meet tomorrow night. Area 3 will convene in the board room at Area 3 offices on U.S. 1 in Langley at 6 p.m. Area 5 will meet at Jackson Elementary School starting at 7:30 p.m.

Dr. Jack Hamrick urged AMBUCS members to recruit more men for the Guardian Ad Litem program which aids abused children. He outlined his role in investigations, interviews, and court reports. Currently about 12 volunteers exist with only two men. The group also announced the May 31 awards banquet at the Lions Club Building.
