Aiken events fill day with walks shows and fairs
Several community activities fill the day across Aiken. A Mile Walk with Your Dog starts at 9:30 at Woodside Village fountain, with coffee after at Village Cafe. MOMS club hosts an open house 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Odell Weeks center with vendors serving children. Omega Psi Phi holds Mother to Son Affair at Citizens Park 6 to 10:30 p.m. with tiered ticketing. A dog wash runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at SPCA Albrecht Center with varied bathing prices. An antique show at Whiskey Road runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission free. Additional events include a Spring Fling Potluck at Germ Lakes, an all-ages Depot Train Day at the Aiken Visitors Center, and charity lectures/signings at local venues.
