Northside Park may be renamed Generations Park in Aiken
City documents indicate Northside Park could soon bear the name Generations Park. The proposal reflects a timeless aim to serve the community for generations as the park opens in phases with an amphitheater, walking trail, playground, and field. City officials note a ceremonial groundbreaking occurred last year and the park is in annexed territory within Aiken. A council work session is set for 7 pm at the Municipal Building, 214 Park Ave SW.
