Guinness honors surfer for 78 foot wave record

Hawaii pro Garrett McNamara rode a 78 foot wave off Nazare Portugal earning a Guinness record. Judges analyzed footage and used his crouched height and shin bone length to estimate the wave’s size as the wall collapsed, following the $15,000 XXL award.
