Dirt mound grows near H Odell Weeks Tennis Complex
A large mound of topsoil at the H Odell Weeks Tennis Complex area in Aiken is rising above nearby structures as grading continues for phases 1 and 2 of the project. Public Works uses the dirt on various jobs, including water line break yard fills, with plans to raise the pro shop area by several feet. The dirt may be moved to sites like the recycling center, Citizens Park, or other city areas as needed.
