Wagener Museum to be Restored in City Center Renovation

Aiken County grant of 6445 dollars funds renovation of a 28 by 43 foot garage adjoining Wagener's municipal building for the Wagener Historical Museum. The project includes brick replacement, suspended ceiling, HVAC, carpeting, paint, accessible bathroom, and public access doors. The museum will display historic Wagener photographs and artifacts once moved to the renovated municipal center on Railroad Avenue.

A 20 year old woman suffered burns while trying to carry a grease fire outside a Beech Island home.
