Helen Bolster Blow 69 cherished wife of David C. Blow died March 19 2008 at home. She was born in Towanda Pa a retired bookkeeper and moved to Aiken from Gillette Pa. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church Aiken and Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church Gillette. Survivors include husband two daughters Reba and Tari and sons in law Suriyon Poonpiset and David Larkin plus three grandchildren a sister a brother in law and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday at 3 pm in Shellhouse Rivers Chapel Aiken with burial in Bradford County Memorial Park Towanda. The family receives friends 2 to 3 pm Friday. Delta Jet Makes Emergency Landing in Greenville
Delta Air Lines flight 1819 carrying 259 passengers from Raleigh to Atlanta made an emergency landing at Greenville-Spartanburg after the pilot smelled smoke in the cockpit. An air conditioning vent malfunction was blamed. One woman sustained minor burns and was treated on scene. Passengers waited for onward service to Atlanta.
