Aiken to place time capsule on April 30

The city of Aiken will inter a 3 by 4 by 3 foot time capsule at the Newberry Festival site on April 30, to be opened in 2100. It will reflect life in Aiken in 1999 2000 with items limited by space and perishables. Citizens may submit letters or predictions and join a community photo April 16 at Laurens Street and Park Avenue.
