Beech Island mill fire at Kimberly-Clark causes minor damage

An early morning 6:30 a.m. fire at Kimberly-Clark Beech Island mill damaged raw materials in a warehouse but did not harm the building or equipment. Plant GM Jim Taylor credited internal staff and Beech Island and nearby fire brigades for containment. three shifts lost as production paused in one area. No injuries or environmental impact reported.

State drug card shift raises prescription costs for some
