Etherredge Center gallery hosts two women focused art shows
The Etherredge Center presents works by Navajo artist R C Gorman and Aiken artist Julie Adams featuring female imagery in costumes and gesture. Gorman’s lithographs show women framed by their environment, while Adams’ sixteen pieces explore theatrical dress and self portrayal through titled works like Looking for Love Only a Toy and Juke Box Madonna. The solo show runs through March 21 with hours 9 to 5 and extended evening and weekend access.
