Ellen Herring, an Aiken High senior, won first place in the Aiken County High School Art Show. Her aunt Marilyn Pearson praised the family's artistic influence as teachers Guillermo and Wessinger-Hanna led a strong AHS showing with multiple honors.

Aiken County boards set Thursday meetings and conference
The Board of Appeals will meet Thursday at 6 30 p m in County Council Chambers. The Aiken PC Users Group meets at 7 p m at the Public Library to discuss How to Use Google and other search engines. A two day conference on school based mental health group interventions is sponsored by USC Aiken and Division 49 of the APA at USCA School of Education with registration via email or fax.
