Meeting on Monetta School Set for Thursday

A public forum on a proposed private school to be built in Moneta is planned for Thursday at Ridge Spring Monetta High School gym at 7 pm. A representative from the Family Foundation of New York will discuss a possible 217 acre campus for grades seven through 12 near Abney Road, with facilities like an auditorium and dormitories. The project, which could serve up to 250 students, drew early concern at a February 17 hearing of the Aiken County Planning Commission about students with emotional or behavioral problems.
