County rebuffs Monetta school plan in county vote
Aiken County Council adopted a resolution Tuesday night urging the Family Foundation School owners not to build a private academy in Monetta. Councilwoman Kathy Rawls cited resident opposition, a public meeting set for Thursday, and a petition with 247 names. The Family Foundation plans a 110 to 250 student facility for grades 7-12 serving emotionally or behaviorally challenged youths from Hancock New York.

North Augusta Water Supply Cleared After Break
