Charges refiled after case dismissed in Erie

Mayer Gold travelled 800 miles from South Carolina to defend himself against theft charges. A judge dismissed the case when a prosecutor did not appear, but Millcreek Township police refiled the charges on Friday. Gold, represented by John Moore, says the refiled case will reveal the truth as Patricia Gold expresses relief and intent to clear her husband’s name. The couple moved to South Semorina in spring.
