Magician Lonefelt Delights Kids At Aiken Library Show

Tim Lonefelt enthralled more than 100 children at the Aiken County Library summer reading event when his magic act featured a trick with a Flat Stanley cutout. Seven year old Claire Evans helped as the envelope emptied and Stanley appeared on her back, sparking giggles and a lasting memory. Lonefelt, a longtime magician since 1988, brings kid oriented routines to libraries each summer before switching to corporate and civic shows. He cites Dr. Seuss and The Huckabuck Family as inspirations, aiming to spark reading and imagination, as Claire left with Mike's Mystery from the Boxcar Children series.
