A Barnwell man was arrested on Pine Log Road for speeding and driving under suspension plus child restraint violation. A Jackson man faced charges for marijuana possession open container minor in possession of alcohol and illegal liquor. Vehicles were broken into on Whiskey Road and Kirby Drive with items stolen including a $150 CD player and a $380 amplifier. An Aiken woman was arrested for DUI on Richland Avenue. A wallet was stolen from H Odell Weeks Activities Center. Household thefts occurred June 8 12 13 and items ranged from $34 000 furniture to $1 300 worth of lawn equipment and jewelry. A four wheeler valued at $3 600 was stolen on Stallwater Road Beech Island.
