Crescent City Playhouse revives Salley landmark with youth troupe
In Salley, the 109 year old Alley building is being renewed as The Crescent City Playhouse a hub for music acting and lessons led by Sherry Fair. Local kids ages 4 to 14 train in drama improv and voice with Beaufort Hartley and his son Chris backing the project. The troupe plans a June 27 show The New TV and July 25 Frenzied Fables and Twisted Tales plus August 22 The Rehearsal with barbecues and country music fundraisers set for 6 pm start.
