United Way of Aiken County welcomes Helping Hands and Happy Days Camp as new agencies for 1979. Helping Hands, founded in 1973, provides foster care and delinquent-child housing without discrimination. Happy Days Camp, founded in 1971, offers summer camping for mentally and physically disabled youths, aided by private donations and local agencies.
